Sponsor A Student
Dear Friends of The Lutheran High School of Kansas City,
Welcome back to The Lutheran High School of Kansas City and this year’s theme “Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you say, “This is the way; walk in it.” Isaiah 30:21. We are excited about the achievements of our students this year. We look forward to the fall tournament season as many of our athletes will be competing at the highest levels in the state of Missouri. We praise God for His grace and abundance in our lives.
Thank you for your previous and continued support of the Lutheran High School of Kansas City. Your support in the areas of time, treasures, and talents has allowed LHSKC to grow and prosper. We hope to grant the wish of every family seeking to send a child to LHSKC. Granting these wishes is the mission of the Sponsor Our Students (SOS) Program. Each family at LHSKC is required to pay tuition. However, not every family has the financial ability to meet all the tuition obligations. This is where the Sponsor Our Students program becomes essential. The program assists families who have demonstrated need.
I am writing you today to ask you to prayerfully consider a gift for the Sponsor Our Students program. The brochure below will give you added insight into how the program works. The decision to deny a young person an opportunity to grow in Christ through a quality Christian education is a difficult one. I pray I never have to make that decision because of a lack of funding. Please find enclosed an opportunity to contribute to this important program.
Our plans are to grow and expand this ministry so more students in the greater Kansas City area can experience the Gospel in their lives on a daily basis. Please consider assisting our efforts to “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6
In His Service,
Dr. Cary Stelmachowicz
Executive Director
