The Power of a Simple Gift
Have you packed your shoe boxes yet? Time is running out so don’t delay any longer. Sunday November 18th is the last day to bring them to church. Our goal is 700 shoe boxes and we need everyone to help us reach that goal.
A shoe box gift is indeed very simple but has a powerful impact on a young life that lives in poverty, war-torn and natural disaster stricken countries. The shoe box gift is the first step in sharing God’s love with the children through “The Greatest Journey”, the 12 week discipleship program which children who receive a shoe box gift are invited to attend.
If you haven’t packed a shoe box before, it’s very easy. Stop at the display in the lobby and pick up a brochure which has instructions and suggestions of what to pack in the box. Once your box is packed, bring it back to the lobby display and we will take it from there.
